How much RAM does a Hytale server use?
Hytale Server RAM usage is not officially known yet. Based on currently available pre-launch information, Hytale supports a more traditional server hosting model similar to other sandbox games. For most standard hosting situations, 4GB of RAM is expected to cover the majority of servers, with additional memory recommended for modded servers or larger communities. This calculator helps estimate RAM usage based on world size, mods, and players.
Why is this only an estimate?
This is only an estimate because many aspects of Hytale server hosting are still subject to change. Final server software, optimization levels, modding complexity, and player behavior will all play a role in determining real-world RAM usage once the game is fully released. How to reduce Hytale server RAM usage?
