Configuring building decay on your Rust server is extremely simple with Pine Hosting. This guide covers everything you need to know about configuring decay on your server.
Steps:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Head over to Files Tab
- Use the search bar to find the server.cfg file
- Click on it to open it
- Create a new line and type "decay.scale <number>". Example: "decay.scale 0.5" -> will make reduce decay rate by 50%.
- Click on Save Content
- Restart your server
Note:
- The convar "decay.scale" is by default set to 1
- Any number above 1 will increase decay rate
- Any number below 1 will decrease decay rate
