Your server crashed and you don't know what is wrong? Don't worry, troubleshooting on your Minecraft server is very easy with Pine Hosting. This guide covers how to quickly trouble shoot your server for broken plugins.
Steps:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Start your server and check for any console Errors
- If your server crashed, check to see if any crash reports were generated in your Files Tab. Find out how to read crash reports here
- In your Files tab TEMPORARILY rename your "plugins" folder to something else and Restart your server.
- If your server boots normally, this means some plugin is causing the issue.
- In order to find which plugin is causing the issue first revert the name of your plugins folder back to "plugins"
- Click the on the "plugins" folder
- Then start individually disabling plugins by Renaming them, adding something like ".jar.disabled" at the end, and Restart your server each time to see if it works.
- If your server boots fine, congratulations you have found the issue!
