Your server crashed and you don't know what is wrong? Don't worry, troubleshooting on your Minecraft server is very easy with Pine Hosting. This guide covers how to quickly trouble shoot your server for world data corruption.

Steps:

  1. Login to your game panel here
  2. Select the server you want to work on
  3. Start your server and check for any console Errors
  4. If your server crashed, check to see if any crash reports were generated in your Files Tab. Find out how to read crash reports here
  5. Head over to Backups Tab and click on Create Backup (you can restore it any any point)
  6. In your Files tab rename your "world" folder(s) to something else and Restart your server.
  7. If the server starts without any errors after changing the world folder name, this would indicate world data corruption
