Transferring your local palworld server to Pine Hosting is straightforward but may temporarily cause some progress loss. This guide will help you migrate your server files and restore your progress on Pine Hosting. At this time migrating files from your local server may end up losing your progress but keep your players progress so this guide should help you with migrating the server files and restoring progress.

How to transfer your local server:

  1. Login to your game panel here
  2. Select the server you want to work on
  3. Start the server for the first time and connect to it
  4. Stop the server and head over to "Settings" tab
  5. Copy SFTP data and login via FileZilla/WinSCP or similar SFTP software to your server
  6. Copy contents of your save folder to "Pal/Saved/SaveGame/0/ID_Of_Your_Server"
  7. Start the server and connect to it
  8. You will need to create new character
  9. Stop the server
  10. Download PalWold Server Fix (make sure to download all dependencies)
  11. Open "File Manager" and navigate to "Pal/Saved/SaveGame/0/ID_Of_Your_Server"
  12. Select all files and folders and archive it, once done download archive on your PC
  13. Open PalWorld-Host-Save-Fix.exe file that you downloaded from Github and select Level.sav file you downloaded from your server (Keep window running as it may take some time to load everything)
  14. Select character which needs to be migrated (PineHosting-Lvl 10 for example) and select your new character (PineHosting-Lvl0) and click Migrate
  15. Let the script run to transfer entire progres
  16. Once script is done you can use SFTP client to upload your files back to the server
  17. Start the server and enjoy your progress
