Changing the tick rate or tick speed on your Minecraft server is simple with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through the steps to change the tick speed of your server.
Important Information:
The vanilla Java tick speed is set to 3 whilst on Bedrock it runs on 1. If you plan on changing those values make sure to remember them incase you want to revert them.
Steps:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Go to your Console and make sure your server is running
- In the command line, type the command "/gamerule random TickSpeed [value]" . Example : /gamerule random TickSpeed 10
- Hit Enter to send the command
