Changing game difficulty on your Minecraft server is a straightforward process with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through changing game difficulty on your server.

Changing Difficulty In-Game:

  1. Join your Minecraft server as explained in this article here
  2. Open the chat, and type in the /difficulty command followed by the difficutly mode you want (hard, easy etc). Example: /difficulty hard
  3. Finally, press Enter to send the command

Changing Difficulty Through Console:

  1. Login to your game panel here
  2. Select the server you want to work on
  3. Head over to Console
  4. Type the command difficulty followed by the difficutly mode you want (hard, easy etc) into the command line. Example: difficulty hard
  5. Finally, press Enter to send the command

Changing Difficulty Through The Config Files:

  1. Login to your game panel here
  2. Select the server you want to work on
  3. Head over to Files tab
  4. Locate the "server.properties" file and click on it
  5. Change to desired level after the "=" under "difficulty". Example "difficulty"=hard 
  6. Click on Save Content and Restart your serve
