Changing Difficulty In-Game:
- Join your Minecraft server as explained in this article here
- Open the chat, and type in the /difficulty command followed by the difficutly mode you want (hard, easy etc). Example: /difficulty hard
- Finally, press Enter to send the command
Changing Difficulty Through Console:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Head over to Console
- Type the command difficulty followed by the difficutly mode you want (hard, easy etc) into the command line. Example: difficulty hard
- Finally, press Enter to send the command
Changing Difficulty Through The Config Files:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Head over to Files tab
- Locate the "server.properties" file and click on it
- Change to desired level after the "=" under "difficulty". Example "difficulty"=hard
- Click on Save Content and Restart your serve
