Installing NuVotifier for your Minecraft server is simple with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through the steps to allow players to join your server from Minecraft bedrock clients.
Important Information:
- This plugin requires an empty port in order to set it up. Each Minecraft server we provide comes with 3 ports. If your game port is for example "25505" then the 2 other free ports will be +1 and +2. Example: "25506" and "25507".
- Bukkit or SpigotMC is required to install NuVotifier on the server.
Steps:
- Download NuVotifier on your computer
- Login to your game panel here
- Select server you want to work on
- Head to Console and make sure your server is offline
- Head to the Files Tab and locate the "plugins" folder
- Upload the file you previously downloaded on step 1
- Go to Console again and Restart your server
- Once your server is fully booted up Stop it again
- Go to Files Tab and navigate to home/container/plugins/Votifier
- Click on "config.yml" to open it
- On the "port=" field change the value to a free Minecraft port from your server as described in "Important Information"
- Click Save Conent
- Go to Console tab and Restart
- Once the server is fully booted up, enter "testvote" followed by your username in the command line to test if NuVotifier works. Example: testvote examplename
