Setting up Geyser and Floodgate for your Minecraft server is simple with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through the steps to allow players to join your server from Minecraft bedrock clients.

Important Information:

  • This plugin requires an empty port in order to set it up. Each Minecraft server we provide comes with 3 ports. If your game port is for example "25505" then the 2 other free ports will be +1 and +2. Example: "25506" and "25507". 

  • PaperMC or SpigotMC is required to be installed on the server.

Steps:

  1. Download geyser-spigot.jar and floodgate-spigot.jar
  2. Login to your game panel here
  3. Select server you want to work on
  4. Head to the Files Tab and locate the "plugins" folder
  5. Upload the .jar files you previously downloaded on step 1
  6. Restart your server
  7. Once your server is fully booted up Stop it again
  8. Go to Files Tab and navigate to home/container/config/geyser-spigot
  9. Click on "config.yml" to open it
  10. On the "port=" field change the value to a free Minecraft port from your server as described in "Important Information"
  11. Click Save Content 
  12. If the serer is running on version 1.19.1+, go to Files and then look for "server.properties" and click on it
  13. On the "enforce secure profile" field change it from true to "false".
  14. Click on Save Content when done
  15. Restart your server
