Adding players to your new custom Oxide groups on your Rust server is extremely simple with Pine Hosting. This guide explains how to easily add and remove players from oxide groups from your server.
Important Information:
- It is NOT advised to remove anyone from the default group
- Players get automatically assigned to the default group when they join the server
- Players get automatically assigned into the admin group when claiming their ownerid like explained here

How To Add Players To Oxide Groups:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Head over to your Console
- In the command line type oxide.usergroup add followed by the steamID64 of the player and name of the group you want that player added. Example "oxide.group add 76561198420408632 vip_group"
How To Remove Players From Oxide Groups:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Head over to your Console
- In the command line type oxide.usergroup remove followed by the steamID64 of the player and name of the group you want that player removed from. Example "oxide.group remove 76561198420408632 vip_group"
