Changing the Forge version on your minecraft server is easy. This guide walks you through the steps to update it via the Pine Hosting panel.
How to change forge version:
- Login into the Game Panel
- then head over to Startup tab,
- Set Minecraft Version to your liking, in this example we will use 1.18.2,
- Go to https://files.minecraftforge.net/net/minecraftforge/forge/ and find Forge version for Minecraft 1.18.2 and copy latest Forge version for 1.18.2 which is **1.18.2 - 40.2.10**
- Go back to Startup tab on game panel set set Forge Version to: **1.18.2-40.2.10**
- Go to File Manager and remove all files and folders
- Go to Settings tab and click Reinstall Server. Once server is reinstalled simply start the server and your Forge version will be updated to the one you selected.
