Adding your favourite mod collection to your Project Zomboid server is extremely simple with Pine Hosting. This guide covers how to add an entire Steam mods collection to your modded Project Zomboid server.
How To Get All Mod Ids From A Mod Collection:
- Go To Project Zomboid Workshop
- Click on Browse and then "Collections"
- Locate the mod collection you wish to install on your server and click on it.
- Copy the URL at the top of the page (If you have the collection in your Favourites you can also copy the link from there)
- Head over to PZIdGrabber tool
- Paste your URL in the field and click "Submit"
- Now the website will give you a complete list of both the workshop and mod IDs of the entire collection that you can simply copy and paste into your server.
How To Add A Mod Collection To Your Project Zomboid Server
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Click on Workshop tab
- In the search field, Paste the Mod Collection URL from Steam
- Check the "Install as collection" box and click Install
- Then go to the Mods tab and click on "Add"
- Paste all Mods IDs from the website we previously used in the field, then finally click "Install"
- When done, click "Save"
- Restart the server
Important Information:
Map mods will require that you manually enter the map name in Zomboid.ini in order to work and it is best to keep mods in a specific order to ensure your server doesn't break. Check out our guide on How To Add Map Mods On Your Project Zomboid Server
