This guide will show you how to access the in-game console in your Satisfactory server. The console allows you to use commands, view logs, and adjust certain game functions directly while playing.
Steps To Open The Console:
- Launch Satisfactory and join your game or server
- Press the § (paragraph), ` (backtick), or ~ (tilde) key
- Pressing the key cycles through three stages:
- Stage 0: No console
- Stage 1: Small command line at the bottom of the screen
- Stage 2: Large console window with command line and logs
- You can now enter console commands. For a full list of commands, visit the Satisfactory Wiki.
Unable To Open The Console:
- Close Satisfactory completely
- Navigate to: %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor
- Tip: On Windows, press Win+R, paste the path above, and press Enter
- Open the file called Input.ini
- Add these two lines to the bottom of the file:
[/script/engine.inputsettings] ConsoleKey=F6
- Save the file and relaunch Satisfactory
- Press F6 (or the key you set) to open the console
NOTE: Changing the key binding will disable the original console keys.
