This guide will show you how to change the starting area for your Satisfactory server. You can either reset your progress and pick a new starting location, or simply move your HUB to a different area on the map.
How To Change Starting Area On Your Satisfactory Server
- Option 1 – Reset Progress: Create a new session from the Server Manager screen and select your desired starting location (Grass Fields, Rocky Desert, Northern Forest, or Dune Desert).
- Option 2 – Move The HUB: Simply move your HUB to your preferred location on the map. The HUB acts as your respawn point and can be relocated at any time.
NOTE: Resetting your session will erase all progress, while moving the HUB will keep your current factory intact but change your respawn point.
