Adding custom maps to your Project Zomboid server is extremely simple with Pine Hosting. This guide covers how to add a custom map to your server.
Important Information:
You can find the map's Workshop ID's and Mod ID's on their Steam Workshop page. They should be at the bottom of the page.
How To Add A Custom Map To Your Project Zomboid Server
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Click on Workshop tab
- Enter the ''Workshop ID'' in the search bar and click Install
- Click on Mods tab and enter the "Mods ID" in the search bar and click Save
- Head over to Files tab and use the search bar to find Zomboid.ini
- Look for the line ''map=''
- Add the name of the map exactly as it appears on the map's steam page. Example= Map=MapName1
- Restart the server to download mods
Mod Loader Order:
- Maps
- Tile Packs
- Framework and Character adjustment mods
- Vehicle Mods
- All other mods
Note: Keeping mods in that order will ensure that your server doesn't break.
