Enabling teleportation on your Minecraft server is simple with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through the steps to enable teleport on your server.

Important Information:

There are two ways to teleport in-game. The most common one is via in-game commands. The second option is Teleportation mods like Waystones which allow players to travel back and forth from 2  location points or more and EssenialsX that will allow players to send teleport requests to other players. If you are planning on making a public server for friends or a big community, and you want players to be able to teleport, plugins are always recommended instead of in-game commands that require a player to be an Operator in order to use.

Teleport via In-game commands:

  1. Make sure you are an Operator on your Minecraft server by following this tutorial
  2. Join your Minecraft server like explained in this tutorial
  3. Open your chat and use one of the following commands to teleport to your desired location:
Command Use
/tp [x] [y] [z] Teleports you to the specified X, Y, Z coordinates you enter
/tp [x] ~ [z] Teleports you to the specified X Z coordinates, while keeping your exact current Y position
/tp [player1] [player2] Teleports one player to another players exact location
/tp [player] [x] [y] [z] Teleports a player to the specified X, Y, Z coordinates.
