Setting up Dynmap for your Minecraft server is simple with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through the steps and requirements to set up Dynmap on your server.

Important Information

  • PaperMC or Spigot is required to to install Dynmap.
  • This plugin requires an empty port in order to set it up. Each Minecraft server we provide comes with 3 ports. If your game port is for example "25505" then the 2 other free ports will be +1 and +2. Example: "25506" and "25507". 

Steps:

  1. Download the Dynmap version that matches the version of your Minecraft server, on your computer
  2. Login to your game panel here
  3. Select server you want to work on
  4. Head to Console and make sure your server is offline
  5. Head to the Files Tab and locate the "plugins" folder
  6. Upload the file you previously downloaded on step 1
  7. Go to Console again and Restart your server
  8. Once your server is fully booted up Stop it again
  9. Go to Files Tab and navigate to home/container/plugins/dynmap
  10. Click on "configuration.txt" to open it
  11. On the "webserver-port=" field change the value to a free Minecraft port from your server as described in "Important Information"
  12. After the "deftemplatesuffix" change the settings to either "lowres" or "vlowres"
  13. Click Save Conent
  14. Go to Console tab and Restart
  15. On the Console tab under "Server Info", copy the IP address (only the part before the ":" not after. The part after is your game port)
  16. To view the dynmap replace the "SERVERIP" and "PORT" in this url with the ones from step 15 and step 11: http://SERVERIP:PORT
