Transferring your single-player world to your Minecraft server is a straightforward process with Pine Hosting. This guide walks you through uploading your single player world to your Pine server.

Locate Your Save Folder:

  1. Press the keys Windows + R, type "%AppData%\.minecraft\saves", and hit Enter
  2. Find the world you want to transfer and note its folder name (this is the same as the map name)
  3. Compress the world folder into a .zip file

Upload The World To Your Server:

  1. Connect to your server via FTP/SFTP like explained here
  2. Upload the .zip file to the server
  3. In the file manage page, right-click the uploaded .zip file and select Unarchive
  4. (Optional) Delete the .zip file from both your local and server storage after extraction
  5. Ensure the world name has no spaces or special characters. EXAMPLE  - Original : Example's World,   Renamed: Examples_World

Set The World In Server Properties:

  1. Open the "server.properties" file
  2. Find the line that mentions "level-name=world"
  3. Change "world" to match your uploaded world's folder name. Renamed example: "level-name=Examples_World"
  4. Click on Save Content when done
  5. Restart the server and your single-player world should be now loaded
