Changing the MOTD (Message of the Day) for your Minecraft server is quick and easy with Pine Hosting. This guide will walk you through the steps to update it via your server’s game panel.
Changing MOTD:
- Login to your game panel here
- Select the server you want to work on
- Head over to Console Tab and make sure your server is Running. If not press Start
- Once your server is fully booted enter the following command "whitelist on" to enable the whitelist. To disable it just enter "whitelist off"
How to Add and Remove Players from the Whitelist:
- Make sure you have OP permissions like explained here
- Join your Minecraft server like explained here
- From the in-game chat type "/whitelist add" followed by the name of the player you want to whitelist. To remove a player from the whitelist type "/whitelist remove" followed by the name of the player you want to remove.
